Government Service

Mr. Bsharat previously served as a Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, Division of Criminal Justice, where he prosecuted criminal matters on behalf of the State of New Jersey. In that role, he handled investigations, contested hearings, motion practice, plea negotiations, and courtroom proceedings.

 

He currently serves as:
    •    Assistant Corporation Counsel to the City of Paterson
    •    Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Paterson

 

In these capacities, he represents municipal interests and prosecutes offenses in municipal court. His continued public service reflects the trust placed in him by governmental entities and reinforces his courtroom fluency and prosecutorial insight.
